Isle of Wight Table Tennis Association's Annual Presentation Evening: Youth Team Boosted for International Island Games

The Isle of Wight Table Tennis Association held a successful Presentation Evening on September 4, highlighting youth development and international participation. Chairman Alex Rorke thanked organizers Pat Thorley, Paul Cates, Tim Giles, and Peter Clarke for their contributions to community activities. Division One player Mike Turner presented trophies to league winners and runners-up. The Winter League with four divisions starts early October, featuring 16 under-16 players as a positive sign for the future. The association is sending an eight-player team to the International Island Games in the Faroe Islands at season's end. The event emphasizes grassroots growth and community engagement in table tennis.
